IMUGARD III is a filtration system made of highly porous, biocompatible polyurethane material that enables the stable filtration of leukocytes and microaggregates.
Inside the filter, patented technology ensures optimal pore size distribution and pore density. Leukocyte entrapment is primarily achieved by the pore size distribution within the filter, with very limited interaction between cell and material. The absence of cellular or protein activation produces very high purity blood products.
